Computer Access


When you are enrolled at the college you automatically get issued with a login account.


Our state-of-the art network provides access to the following services:


• Individual user area (to store coursework)

• Individual email account

• 'Leap' (Electronic Individual Learner Plans)

• Virtual learning environment and student portal (Moodle)

• Internet access

• Library system


Access to these services is provided via 1,200 Windows PCs on the college campus and from any area of the college using your own laptop via the wireless network. You are also able to access many of these services from outside the college (for example, from your home PC).

 

We also have 100 Apple Mac computers to provide access to specialized software in the art, media and music areas.

The Computer Services department provides technical assistance throughout the day at our Helpdesk where you can receive help or advice from our fully trained, experienced and friendly staff.
