Students at South Devon College Marine Academy have embarked on an ambitious design and build project of a one man hovercraft. Learners on the Level 3 BTEC Marine Technologies programme have commenced design of the craft using 2D and 3D CAD software.
The different stages of the design and build are linked to their curriculum including Design, CAD, Fluid Dynamics and Mechanical Principles.
