On 12th August, the Government published their proposals on how funding will work for companies who take on apprentices.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) students were acknowledged for their commitment and hard work at a presentation at The Imperial Hotel, Torquay.
The students are all staff members from The Imperial Hotel and represent a wide variety of ages and backgrounds including; Thai, Czech, Polish, Italian and Hungarian. They were presented with their certificates following a 6 week training programme,

Jemma initially joined South Devon College in 2009 to study the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, and was awarded with Distinction in 2011. Following this, Jemma spent some time working for the Mare and Foal Sanctuary as well as the Devon Birds of Prey Centre, throughout this period Jemma kept in good contact with her lecturers at the College and expressed a desire to continue to

The Instsitue of the Motoring Industry (IMI) held a South Devon Members Association event based on new MOT training updates at South Devon College. People from all over Devon and Cornwall attended the event.
