South Devon College hosted an end of term Gala Fundraising Dinner at Horizons Restaurant, featuring the 'Stars of Today' – renowned chefs Mitch Tonks and Mark Hix and the 'Stars of Tomorrow' – South Devon College Hospitality and Catering students Charlotte Jewel and Abigail Hookins. The dinner was a celebration of skills achieved through the Mitch Tonks Seafood Academy at South Devon College.

Saturday 25th June saw the annual South Devon College Marine Academy activity day. The activities were based at Premier, Noss-on-Dart Marina.
The day promised fine weather and a host of interactive activities designed and led by the expert Marine Academy staff, all specialists in their own area of the marine industry. The event was also supported by students who are studying at the Marine Academy;

Torbay Tigers are to join forces with the South Devon College Basketball Academy for the new academic year starting in September 2016.
Rick Wooldridge, Tigers Head Coach and former England under 16s Coach, is very keen for the academy to be based at the College. Rick only has praise for the College Basketball programme, which over the last six years has produced some talented players who have gone

South Devon College students have just completed a collaborative building project on Lower Sharpham Farm. In just 6 months, the students have successfully built an office building from the foundations to the finishing touches. The project was working in partnership with Ambios and the Robert Owens Community and was sponsored by Inter-Line Building Supplies.
Ambios is a not-for-profit organisation
