Sports Science Qualification
The Sports Science qualification gives students the opportunity to study key areas of Sports Science including physiological responses to exercise, sports injuries, sports psychology, sports nutrition and the science behind training and fitness. Students will be assessed using a range of methods, most of which will be coursework and assignment based tasks and activities. Students will be expected to sit a one hour externally assessed exam for the sports injuries unit. This course offers students the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts learnt within the classroom, to practical contexts. Delivery of the content will be practical based where applicable.
