Healthcare Support Diploma Level 3
This is an occupational qualification for those who work in Senior Healthcare Support Worker roles in England or are working towards attaining this role.
Senior Healthcare Support Workers work alongside registered healthcare professionals to deliver high quality and compassionate health and care services. A Senior Healthcare Support Worker will provide clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic care under the direct or indirect supervision of a registered healthcare professional.
A qualified Trainer Facilitator/ Assessor will support this development via one-to-one tutorials and observations in practice, as prearranged with you and your employer.
On successful completion of this course, you could progress onto Higher Education, including a foundation degree at University Centre South Devon or higher-level study in other health or social care areas such as the Assistant Practitionerin Healthcare or the Nursing Associate, or to higher education programmes, providing all entry requirements are met.
This course may offer funding for those who are over 19, have been resident in the UK for three years, with the exception of those who live within a devolved adult education area and those currently enrolled on an apprenticeship please click here for more information.
